The Spirit of Blue Safety Grant Program is designed to award equipment or training that will protect officers serving on duty.  By filling out the form below, your agency is declaring that it is authorized by its local governing authority to receive a grant.  Once submitted, your agency will be recognized as eligible and a confirmation email will be sent with a link to the complete the full Grant Consideration Form.  Simply fill it out and email it back.  Only those agencies who complete the long form application will be considered.

Please note: All 2020 Safety Grants have been awarded. New submissions will be considered for the 2021 Safety Grant Program which will open up in June 2021.

THE NEED

Over 900,000 law enforcement officers honorably serve the population of the United States - that equates to 1 officer for every 350 citizens. On average, 125 officers are lost and another 15,000 are injured in the line of duty each year. Yet funding for safety equipment and training is dwindling as tax revenues decline. The need for supplemental funding to protect these officers has never been greater.
